Why Lemi Shine?

Our citric acid isn’t just for kitchens. Lemi Shine’s 100% Food Grade Citric Acid is safe, natural, and the powerhouse behind that satisfying bath bomb fizz. And bonus—it’s free from questionable ingredients, so you can feel just as good about what you’re soaking in as what you’re cleaning with.

What You’ll Need:

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 oz Epsom salt (hello, muscle relief)

  • 4 oz baking soda (softens skin and water)

  • 2 oz corn starch (for that silky-smooth bath feel)

  • 2 oz Lemi Shine Citric Acid (the fizz MVP)

  • 1 tbsp dried lavender buds (looks pretty, smells even better)

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (liquified)

  • ½ tbsp water

  • 20 drops lavender essential oil

  • 1 drop lavender soap coloring (optional, but pretty)

Supplies

  • Large mixing bowl

  • Whisk

  • 2–3 bath bomb molds (medium-sized)

  • Small jar with lid

  • Measuring cups + spoons

How to Make It:

  1. Mix your dry ingredients:
Whisk together the Epsom salt, baking soda, corn starch, and Lemi Shine Citric Acid in a large bowl until smooth and clump-free. Stir in half the lavender buds.

  2. Shake up the wet ingredients:
Melt the coconut oil if needed, then combine it in a small jar with water, essential oil, and soap coloring. Shake it like a cocktail.

  3. Combine the magic:
Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry bowl just a few drops at a time, whisking constantly to avoid triggering the fizz too soon. You’re aiming for a damp sand texture that holds its shape when squeezed.

  4. Mold it up:
Sprinkle a few dried lavender buds into the bottom of each mold half. Then, pack each half tightly with the mixture and press them together. Let them sit for 24 hours.

  5. Store and enjoy:
Once dry, carefully remove your bath bombs from the molds. Store in airtight containers or cute cello bags so they stay fresh and fizzy.

Time to Soak

Run that bath, drop in your homemade lavender bomb, and let the stress melt away. It’s fizzy, floral, and full of calm—all thanks to a handful of safe, simple ingredients and a little Lemi Shine magic.
